- support him if he is right
- ask him abt the task given. follow up
- get update at least once a week eventhough not much task given to him
- most importantly, dont overload him
- if you find him quite overload, try to settle simple stuff for him which u are supposed to be expert in
- give him some treat sometimes
- give him pat on his back or acknowledge through your writings (i.e email) when he did good job
- always have one to one session to make sure he is under control of all his job
- coach him. walk the talk
- never tiaw him infront of his subordinate
Thats what I did and now very dependable on him that im going to face the hectic work life tomorrow as he'll be on long holiday starting tomorrow and I have 3 major breakdown to deal with. Ngam2 everything happen after 6pm today! I need more staff... more time...
